I’m a gap year student who recently completed A-levels in Maths, Further Maths, Physics, and Economics.

Beyond academics, I’ve developed strong leadership and communication skills as the President of my school’s Business and Economics Society, where I ran weekly debates and arranged guest talks, including one from the Bank of England. I also served as a Senior Prefect, helping to organise school events and support younger students.

I’ve taken part in national essay competitions, internship programmes including one at J.P. Morgan, and was selected into the STEM SMART residential programme at University of Cambridge. These experiences developed both my problem-solving and mathematical reasoning to a higher level, and shape how I approach tutoring—with clarity, patience, and the ability to break down complex ideas into simple, relatable concept, helping students not only succeed academically but also find joy in learning.

Tutoring Experience

120+ hours of tutoring experience.

Since September 2023, I have been working as a private tutor, supporting GCSE students—primarily in Maths and Economics—helping with homework assignments, exam preparation, and long-term academic planning. I focus on helping students build confidence through guided practice, encouragement, and personalised targets, which we regularly review to monitor progress.

Tutoring Approach

I believe that understanding WHY something works is just as important as knowing HOW to apply it. I take time to explain ideas clearly, using diagrams, real-life examples, and step-by-step methods tailored to each student’s learning style.
