I am a full-time econometrics, microeconomics, statistics, and pure maths tutor at undergraduate and master's level. I am a graduate of the University of Cambridge, and hold two PhD's and two master's degrees.
I have been a full-time tutor for over 15 years and have many satisfied clients who can provide references as to the effectiveness of my approach. I have also published three books as well as several articles in magazines and academic journals. I am currently writing a book on econometrics.
My first PhD looked at probabilistic algorithms in mathematics, and my second PhD is about well-being, encompassing both psychology and economics.
I am looking to tutor new students via online tuition. Please get in touch if you are interested in knowing more -- CV and references are available upon request.
For the past 15 years I have provided tuition in economics and mathematics on a full-time basis, ranging from KS1 all the way through to PhD level. I have taught classes at University College London on both logic and epistemology. I am also a senior mentor for the UKMT, and provide online support through The Access Project. I have provided coaching for Oxbridge interviews through the charity Teach First. I have trained around 20 other tutors for online tuition.
I am an engaging and dedicated teacher who cares deeply about my students' success. I have a wide range of experience with economics and mathematics. I am looking to build new relationships with students who are looking for online tuition. I use an app called Bitpaper –– an interactive whiteboard with multiple pages and save-to-pdf facility. This provides a very effective learning environment.
I typically operate a "flipped classroom" system where students read the notes in advance, we deal with any issues in the session, and we then focus on working through problems together. However, I tailor my approach to students' individual needs.
