I am a Mathematics Graduate from Warwick University (2000-2004). I am really passionate about Mathematics and this is a very rare opportunity for you to learn from a mathematician.
I am the author of 26 mathematics books covering exam practice revision guides for all ages.
I have been teaching private one to one lessons for over 15 years in London and Home Counties. I teach mainly A Levels & GCSE students and also 11-14 year olds. I have a mix of private and state school students and a few adult learners.
I have many students who went on to study Mathematics at university level including a few to Oxford University.
You will find that my students really enjoy mathematics with me. I approach my students in such a way that they will learn all the subject with a deeper understanding. This will enable them to not only get very good exam marks but to actually learn to use the subject practically.
I will teach students in such a way that they will learn all the basics and then bring them up to a higher level than they are at school. For example I have students who are in Year 11 and they are already studying A Levels with me.
If you are currently struggling, then I can find the root of your problem and bring you up to not only the intermediate level but to a higher standards.
If you are in the middle or intermediate set then I can bring you up to a higher level.
If you are already in the higher set or level and you would like to maintain the level or to further your knowledge, then I am able to teach and guide you with that.
If you are considering studying Mathematics at university level, then I will able to help you with mathematical thinking and problem solving to help you improve your approach.
Well I hope, I have not bored you with my description above. I have a teaser for both parents and students. If you are a parent or a student from year 7 to year 13(2nd year A Level), can you prove the angles in a triangle add up to 180'? It is a little silly for me to write this question here. But not many students are able to do the proof for this simple fact.
These are the kind of things that I will be able to help you with, so the student will see mathematics from a completely different eye from now on. Which help them in their future with whatever the path they may decide to choose.
