Derek has been making excellent progress with our year 11 daughter who is taking GSCE Maths this year. He is very patient and kind and shares his understanding of maths very well. He will explain things in a different way if not first understood.

Update Aug 23. Our daughter got a 5 in GCSE Maths, back in January she was predicted a 2. We booked Derek for multiple weekly hour slots and he helped considerably. Derek has an excellent teaching method and our daughter also completed tasks set to assist understanding. Highly recommended.

An excellent student. She was a pleasure to teach and was prepared to do the extra work required and thoroughly deserved the result she obtained. I wish her all the best for the future and once again well done

UPDATE: August 2019
Emily got her GCSE results yesterday and got a 7 (equivalent of a Grade A) in Maths. Together with her hard work, Derek's excellent tuition helped her achieve this. Thank you, Derek!
