Mathematics has always been my full time career and I still get enormous pleasure from imparting my knowledge to students of all ages and abilities.
I am quite happy to travel to your home, up to a radius of about 5 - 10 miles, depending on the density of traffic in getting to your area.

Tutoring Experience

I have taught at all levels in secondary and adult further education and at one time was head of 6th form mathematics for 15 years. I have had many years experience in private tutoring and also, for 8 years, taught foreign students Preparing for their A level examinations prior to entering UK Universities.
I am now available to teach the syllabus included in the GCSE (Higher and Foundation) papers and the AS and A Level syllabus, not including Further Mathematics at present.

Tutoring Approach

All my students consider me to be a very patient and understanding teacher, and my years of experience have enabled me to appreciate when extra explanation is required in order to fully grasp a new topic or solve an existing problem.
