I am a friendly outgoing person who loves teaching. I believe that we are life long learners and want to offer teaching that will reflect the students interests and so engage and enhance their learning potential. as a dyslexic myself I am aware that with support all can strive to achieve.
I create schemes of work and work support papers tailored to the student whilst being realistic to enable them to achieve their goals.

Tutoring Experience

I have been a teacher for many years teaching a range of subjects to a broad base of learners covering all learning styles. I have taught people of all ages, ethnic groups and learning styles. I understand that a student needs to feel valued and able. I build on former knowledge to give life long knowledge.
My students have been able to progress and build their confidence.

Tutoring Approach

All students come to understand the value of their own progression. I work to understand the student and to see the learning from their viewpoint and so reflect my teaching to support this.
I use a range of styles of teaching and offer klinetic ways to record information and to undertake research.
I use the students interests to inform my resourses.
