I am a qualified, experienced teacher and former A Level examiner, dedicated to helping my students get the very best results. I offer a calm and friendly learning experience, and guidance on how to approach examinations in the most successful way.

Tutoring Experience

I have been teaching Economics and Business for over 25 years. For the majority of this time, I have run successful Economics and Business departments where students have flourished and achieved their goals. I have experience of working in both the private and state sectors, guiding hundreds of students through their GCSE and A Level examinations in both Economics and Business.
In addition to my teaching experience, I am an experienced A Level Economics examiner allowing me insight into what examiners are expecting to see from top students. This, alongside my teaching experience, has enabled me to develop strategies and tips for students to help them achieve excellent grades.

Tutoring Approach

My approach to tutoring will entirely depend on your needs. Each student will have personalised lessons based upon their areas of weakness, or simply what they want to improve. I am happy to cover difficult topics, or focus on examination preparation - it is entirely based on the needs of the student.
