I am a married man with grown up children, who has a genuine love of mathematics and teaching. Teaching has been a huge part of my life for the last 2 decades.
I have been teaching Maths all the way to A level for 23 years. For the last 12 years I have been a Head of maths. I have helped hundreds of pupils to reach their full potential and achieve the grades that they should. I have a very strong understanding of the maths curriculum and how to help a pupil achieve their potential.
Developing understanding. My approach to teaching any topic within maths is to develop a pupils understanding of how a method/process works. This makes it easier for them to embed the knowledge that they are trying to learn.
