I'm an approachable, professional tutor who is able to build a rapport with people from a whole range of backgrounds. I have a wide range of interests, enjoy seeing students learn new things and discover a real interest in their subjects.
Tutoring Experience
I have been tutoring part time or full time for over 20 years in English as a second language, English and maths. I have taught students from as young as four to adults. I have taught small and large groups from many different nationalities, backgrounds and ages. If you are committed to get results and will work with me you will see the results.
Tutoring Approach
My approach to tutoring is to first listen to the student to develop a needs analysis - finding out about their goals and needs. I then develop a plan of how to achieve those goals.
I have seen the positive benefit that regular tutoring can have. A big part of learning is encouragement and confidence so I help students develop their learning to make it a positive experience that they are capable of doing.
