David has been my tutor from second year of my Childhood Studies degree, with David’s help I was able to get a first class degree! David was always prompt and professional and would go out of his way to help me get my work in on time and to the highest standard. I cannot remember the amount of times he read over my dissertation. I actually learnt the skill of critical writing through David’s feedback as he would always advise me to write clearly and taught me how to use citations correctly!! David is still my Tutor he is currently supporting me through my Masters in special educational needs, he has also supported two of my sisters through their PGCE’s. David also supported me to write personal statements for my application for postgraduate study. David had such a vast knowledge in a wide range of topics ranging from SEN, legislation surrounding education, teaching methods and research. I have already recommended David to my own family and will be referring him to other family members stating university in September! Fantastic tutor in so many areas. I am very happy with the service David has provided. As a student completing an intensive one year course it is comforting to know he is only an email away if I have any questions about my work knowing that I will get a quick response to my concerns. His guidance has helped me to navigate more clearly and efficiently through the essay writing process which has helped me to produce an excellent final piece. I have been working with David for only a short period of time and my grade has already seen an improvement. I would recommend David for anyone who needs help getting on the right track with their studies.

I'm in my 3rd year at Uni and a mum of 3. Was overwhelmed with the expectations of university level. But with David's support and professionalism in his subject, I am much more confident. David and my 11-year-old son have really hit it off, and he has been fantastic at figuring out how to motivate and encourage him. In particular, David has been helping my son organise and express himself in writing for subjects as diverse as History, English, Geography and Science, and judging by his recent homework grades, he is showing marked improvement. David is extremely professional and organised, but isn't above a little game of football to break up a long study session… and also to use as a fun learning tool without my son even realising it!
