David is truly an exceptional tutor. From our first meeting, he put both my daughter and I at ease by explaining simple strategies related to her GCSE exam board and how they could work together to achieve her goal of a higher grade.

After only one lesson, my daughter had a lightbulb moment and everything that she had been taught at school over the course of the last two years made complete sense. David is able to help students break everything down to the lowest common denominator, which then allows them to strategically put all their building blocks in alignment so that they can answer or tackle any question put in front of them. This is a true life skill which David teaches with ease and competence.

Above all lessons are fun, engaging and David quickly builds up a rapport with his students so an hour of English becomes a thing of joy rather than something to be dreaded.

If it was possible, I would give David 6 out of 5 stars! He truly is the best tutor you or your child could ever wish to have.

David is knowledgeable, humorous and passionate. Most important, he knows how to lead the kid to find the interest of the subject so that he can keep having the passion on the study. I recruited David very late in the school year to help my son with his English Language GCSE in virtual tutor sessions.
After an initial session we had a detail follow up session for David to outline his thoughts and expectations for (and from) my son.
In the weeks they have been working together my son has grown in confidence with his English skills, he has enjoyed the learning and has been very complementary about David's methods.

David has a very unique way of thinking about the English exams that helped me to understand more about what I’m meant do for the questions. Also taught me stuff that the schools have never taught.

David has been tutoring my 12 year old for more than a couple of months now. David with his engaging lessons , great sense of humor and preparatory course material that is provided in advance has really helped my son with his confidence in English writing. His attention to detail weather it is a missing full stop , a spelling mistake or even upscaling a simple word to sound better, David brings these little but very important details to my son's attention every time he writes a piece stirring him in the right direction. A good experienced tutor and would definitely recommend him .

If you want a serious professional who can lift a student immediately, who knows the board requirements for doing well, and who can tailor tuition to the precise needs of the kid, then David is the man. David is preparing my son for his 10+. He is very knowledgeable and always has plenty of relevant material ready for the lesson. At fist, I was a bit nervious about my son having online lessons as he finds it hard to stay still. However David's lessons are so engaging and enjoyable that my son is quite absorbed and stays focused throughtout. I am really pleased with my son's progress thefore would highly recommended David.

Top tutor! Really knowledgeable, highly professional and engaged the child really well

David has been working with my son to prepare for the 11+ and 13+ entrance exams. David is an excellent tutor - he is well prepared for each lesson, provides various materials for guidance and practice and has adapted the learning journey specifically for the schools my son will apply to. He is very proactive and responsive and communicates well, so we know how Jack is progressing at all times. Importantly my son enjoys the lessons. David makes it fun and engaging but equally he ensures my son is developing and taking on the learning he needs. If my son finds something challenging or overwhelming, David is very reassuring and supportive - helping him to break things down and developing his confidence to tackle these challenges. David is very professional with an enthusiastic approach to teaching, and most importantly he is able to deliver the lessons in an effective and very engaging way.
