David is lovely and very knowledgeable. He made our daughter feel very comfortable and at ease.

However, he is unfortunately not the right fit for what our daughter needs to prepare for her GCSEs.

We felt that David's teaching is at a more advanced level than what she needs at the moment. If you are loo for someone to help with developing your creative writing, or perhaps a higher level of GCSE or A-level or even University essays then David is definitely the right person.
So although not right for us, I would still very much recommend him.

David has been a great help with our 16 year old son, helping him significantly improve his English on the run up to his GCSE exams. David is thoroughly reliable, turns up on time when lessons have been booked, his rates are fair and we feel we get value for money, overall a bargain.

David took time to understand my daughter's issues and learning style and then tailored his teaching appropriately. He was very encouraging, patient and extremely knowledgeable as well as being able to translate the 'weirdness' of our English language to an 18 year old with minor dyslexia. I would heartily recommend him.
