I have been a tutor for almost twenty years. I am fluent in English and in Spanish.

I am outgoing, charismatic, diligent, and determined. I believe a positive attitude and optimistic approach make students feel comfortable, especially when they struggle on certain topics.
I am flexible with my time. I understand how it feels to learn a language that is completely different from the one you are used to, so I can definitely empathise with your situation and create a learning environment that will hopefully make you feel more at ease.

Tutoring Experience

I have wide experience teaching Spanish for more than fifteen years in public and private schools and for all ages, besides considerable experience as an English-Spanish translator/interpreter. I am currently providing online EFL and Spanish tuition.
After many years working as a private tutor in London, I have become familiar and gained experience with all secondary examination boards such as GCSE and A-Level, IB or iGCSE, and other exams like MLAT, SAT, DELE...
But if your true goal goes beyond exam grades and it is more communicative oriented, I am excited to help you too!

Tutoring Approach

I encourage students to solve their own problems by guiding them with leading questions as this is reaffirms their understanding of the subject matter. This method allows them to apply the same knowledge to different questions as they answer a question using their own words rather than mine.
I am very patient with my students, I enjoy teaching them skills on how to use their own strengths to maximize their potential in the subjects they want to improve.
I have many different tutoring skills I use flash cards, workbooks, conversation skills, and fun games. I tend to vary the activities I do when tutoring, in order to keep my students' attention at all times.
