My name is Danielle and I am a friendly, enthusiastic and experienced teacher. I have taught for 18 years and I am passionate about reading and writing. I love to inspire my students to enjoy learning.
I am a fully qualified primary teacher. I have taught in primary schools as a class teacher teaching all subjects in Year 1 to Year 6. I have helped support students in SATs preparation. I have also supported smaller groups of children helping with maths, reading and writing.
I also taught English as a second language for 12 years in Hong Kong primary schools gaining a deep appreciation of the English language. More recently, I have been a homeroom teacher in an international school, specialising in teaching Literacy and Drama to primary students. These unique teaching opportunities have enriched my teaching style and give me exposure to many learning styles.
I am a kind and supportive teacher - my students can excel and feel confident in their learning.
I will start by assessing students to find out their strengths and weaknesses, and then create unique lessons tailored to suit their needs and requirements.
