I have over 10 years experience working in education. I have a real passion for education and love to teach people new skills and help them reach their full potential. I have worked for a number of years at an FE college teaching Maths GCSE re-sits. I am currently working part-time in a primary school setting and also as a GCSE Maths exam marker. I am offering tutoring services in any subject area at key stage 2 (primary school level) and in Maths specifically up to and including GCSE.

Tutoring Experience

I have over 10 years of experience working in education. My primary subject is Maths and I have taught this subject up to GCSE level (focusing on re-sits looking to achieve a grade C). I am currently working at primary school level, key stage 2 and have taught to the national curriculum at this level. I have also provided private tuition services to a number of students during my time working in education.

Tutoring Approach

I have a calm and methodical approach to tutoring. I take the time to break skills down step by step and encourage the pupil to consider the logic behind the process. I use plenty of praise and encouragement to help my pupils to further their own skills by helping build their confidence.
