I am a 30 year old, qualified primary school teacher who graduated from university of the year, Edge Hill (2015), with a 2:1 classification and grade 1 (outstanding) in my placements.

Tutoring Experience

Since graduating, I have gained 10 years experience in a variety of KS1 and KS2 year groups, delivering high quality learning across all subjects, but with a particular focus on maths. I have been subject leader of maths, PE, computing and science. I have experience of teaching a wide range of needs in a mainstream classroom, including a variety of SEN / disadvantaged children and their various needs.

Tutoring Approach

I am enthusiastic about providing a stimulating learning experience in a number of creative methods to embed the teaching into more abstract methods. Using a range of resources helps to ensure that the children can visualise the learning and develop a deeper understanding.
