My name is Dani and I love everything about science! I am also obsessed with animals; giraffes in particular and marine biology. In my spare time I play in a women’s football league and also love to travel.
I have been teaching 11-18 year old students for 7 years in all 3 sciences from KS3 to A level. I have previously been a head of KS3 so have an in depth understanding of the curriculum and for the past 2 years I have been a head of year. I have worked with HPA & LPA children, those with EHCPs, SEN, PP and LAC. I have previously tutored individual students in London before I relocated to Leicester. I form great relationships with all of the students I work with on a personal level as well as an academic level, which enables students to achieve fantastic results!
I am patient, understanding and empathetic to children with all different abilities. I am able to learn what each student needs and differentiate my lessons accordingly in a teaching style that suits each individual student. I am supportive, kind and very motivated as I believe any student can achieve great things if given the right mentoring.
