I offer Science tuition on either an individual basis or as a group discount, starting from £35 per student for a group of two students. As well as lessons targeted at your specific needs I will provide high quality resources such as revision sheets and model answers to common exam questions.

As a current lead teacher at a secondary school in Leicester I have an up to date knowledge of the Science curriculum and exam specifications. I also mark GCSE Science exam papers for AQA, giving me an in depth knowledge of how to achieve maximum marks in an exam.

I tutor all ability levels up to GCSE Science (including separate Biology, Chemistry, Physics).

Tutoring Experience

I am a secondary school Science teacher with a history of helping students achieve outstanding results.
I have been privately tutoring for eight years, with all of my tutees achieving excellent results in their exams.
I am also an examiner for the exam board AQA so have an in depth understanding of what is required by students to achieve good exam results.

Tutoring Approach

One to one tuition can be a valuable addition to a students' in school education. By getting to know the student I aim to create a relaxed atmosphere in which the student feels confident to ask questions and improve their subject knowledge. I have an extensive knowledge of current specifications and as a current teacher keep up to date with changes to exams. I also mark GCSE exam papers, so have an excellent understanding of what is necessary to achieve maximum marks in exams. As well as working to improve the students subject knowledge it is important to spend time working on exam technique and revision strategies. In doing this my students achieve excellent results.
