I'm available for tutoring in Medicine, Biology and Chemistry, at varying levels.

I haven't always been so studious or successful - I was a pretty unmotivated A-leveller and have taken the long route into Medicine - and would love to use my experiences to help GCSE or A-level students. I'm very friendly and will definitely be up for an intelligent conversation rather than giving scripted lectures/study sessions. I will encourage questions from my students! I have been offered prestigious surgical fellowships since finishing medical school.

I am also available for help with university applications, especially Medicine and Oxbridge.

Tutoring Experience

I have tutored A-level Biology and GCSE Biology, Chemistry and Maths for several years now. This was one-to-one at students houses, or at cafes in town. I have had several tutees achieve A* at A level in Chemistry and Biology.

I have also tutored at Brighton College - Independent School of the Year 2011. I have had tutees in Oxford since 2013, whilst I was a medical student. Since moving back to Brighton in 2016, I have tutored GCSE and A level Chemistry.

Tutoring Approach

Relaxed but serious, hopefully stimulating intelligent conversations. Very open to questioning - this is how people become inspired and motivated, by finding their interests in a subject. The first session would be a checking of the syllabus and uncovering the students weak points and favourite areas.
