Hi, I’m Craig, a full-time maths tutor based in London with 16 years of teaching experience. I know that maths can sometimes feel tricky, but with the right support, every student can grow in confidence and achieve fantastic results.

I offer friendly, tailored tutoring for KS3, GCSE and A-Level, and helping students understand key concepts, improve problem-solving skills, and feel ready for their exams. Whether you’re looking to boost grades, tackle tricky topics, or simply feel more confident in maths, I’m here to help.

With a track record of supporting students to achieve top results, my sessions are engaging, supportive, and focused on what works best for each learner.

Tutoring Experience

I have spent 16 years teaching mathematics in two London schools, working with students aged 11 to 18 across all ability levels. For the last six years, I led a fantastic maths team, guiding dedicated and hardworking students to achieve excellent results.

My experience includes developing effective teaching strategies, mentoring staff, and ensuring that every student reaches their full potential.

This year, I am focusing on full-time tutoring before stepping into a senior leadership role at a new London secondary school.

Tutoring Approach

My greatest strength as a tutor is my experience—I have taught thousands of hours of lessons, allowing me to quickly adapt my teaching to each student’s needs.

I can identify and address misconceptions effectively, helping students build both confidence and enjoyment in maths. With a wealth of resources at my disposal, I tailor my lessons to complement what students learn in school.

Where possible, I collaborate with their school teachers to ensure consistency in content and methods. My teaching is always underpinned by thorough and careful planning, ensuring each session is clear, structured, and effective.
