I graduated from the University of Cambridge with a Masters in Engineering (Honours with Distinction) and I am now working as a engineering consultant. I love Maths and problem solving which was why I decided to become an engineer! I aim to pass on my enthusiasm to my students, not only showing them the different approaches to the same problem but also the joy in doing so. I tutor KS3, GCSE, A-Level Maths, but I can also assist in university applications and interview preparations.
Tutored GCSE for over 2 years, A-Level for 1 year, and Oxbridge interview preparations during the last interview season.
I am patient, inspiring and motivating. My lessons are shaped by the specific topics within the course that the student is struggling with on a personal basis. I like to fully discuss the individual steps used by the student to solve the problems, in order to fully test their understanding, utilising tools such as Microsoft Whiteboard to fully engage my students. Thus, ensuring that they end the session with an understanding of the relevant theoretical foundations underpinning the topic - supporting their ability to recall and master the content. There will also be the opportunity to review past material to help further engrain this knowledge in the long term.
