I am a Cello teacher from Ireland. I have been living, studying, and working in the UK for 11 years. I have a bachelor of music degree from the Royal Northern College of Music, and I am a Master of Music degree from the Royal Academy of Music.
I do a mix of performing, recording, and teaching. I also work in the area of music and mental health and work with community groups starting conversations about mental health topics.
2021- Suzuki Teacher Trainee
2017- Lead cello tutor with UK Music Masters
2016-2017 Royal Academy of Music Open Academy. Music workshop leader training with the Open Academy.
2009-2022 Private cello teacher, beginners to advanced. Have experience taking students through ABRSM grades.
2011-2015 Additional learning support at Bryanston Suzuki School for students having difficulties, and working with students with complex needs.
2013-2014 Assistant to musicians in residence at The Seashell Trust SEND School.
2013-2014 String Teaching Course with Phillipa Bunting.
2007-2010 “Practice Buddy” Instructing Cello students on good practice technique and helping them meet grade requirements.
I am very passionate about teaching and believe in providing an encouraging, fun learning environment for students. I am training in the Suzuki Method and am currently taking on beginner students interested in this approach.
