All Session Are 45 Minutes In Length
I currently lead the social science department in a large sixth form. I very much enjoy the wide array of fields within psychology and over recent years I have found myself exploring other avenues of interest such as sport and exercise and the psychology of motivation and performance enhancement within this area.
I have taught in a variety of schools over the years, both state and private, alongside supporting schools and their departments with strategies for improving teaching and learning.
The records below are for all students tutored and taught over the last eight years. I am also a certified personal trainer with specialisms in sports psychology, MMA conditioning, corrective exercise and performance enhancement.
2017 all of my students entered into their firm choice university. Three of those were oxbridge candidates.
2018: 95 per cent of my students entered into their firm choice universities. Six of which were oxbridge candidates.
2019: All of my students entered into their firm choice university with two of those being oxbridge candidates.

I have a wealth of teaching experience and over two decades as a classroom practioner. I confidently teach AQA, OCR, IB, Edexcel, IAl and Cambridge International A-Level psychology. I am also an experienced senior examiner for three examination boards with over 18 years of examining for different boards. I am a published author and have created concise, learner friendly revision resources which are only made available to my students. I have tutored students from many other disciplines including PE A level, students with learning difficulties and several performing entrance examinations for key secondary school places. Alongside these I have taught English, Science and Maths to key stage 4 with over 8 years experience in these subjects.
A variety of methods to best accommodate the student and make learning enjoyable, progressive and purposeful. My students excel because I place their learning at the foremost importance whilst ensuring assessments are directly in line with their aspirational grade and their specification requirements.
My students become more confident in their own abilities and many will only need my help for a couple of months due to the rapid progress they make.
Most students struggle with one hour sessions and experience has shown that the slightly shorter sessions make lessons more adaptable for the younger more active mind alongside students who are neuro diverse and find often that one hour sessions can be quite draining.
Alongside this, it allows my sessions to become more affordable to a wider array of Clients. Sessions are based heaviliy on the students needs and at a pace that drives progression without exhausting the learner. Prep is set between lessons so that the learner can continue to apply their new found knowledge and this is checked at the beginning of each new session to ascertain how the new skills have been applied. I utilise a wealth of resources and skills to astutely uncover the methods that best accommodate the learner for both enjoyment of the subject and confidence in achieving their aspirations.
