Clare

I am an experienced English and History teacher who has been teaching for 30 years. I am currently finishing my Doctor of Education before taking up a headship in a prep school in London. I have also taught Religious Studies and I am a keen sports woman and I play hockey in my free time.

Tutoring Experience

I have taught in both senior and prep schools. I have taught History Common Entrance; Scholarship; GCSE and 'A' Level. I have also taught English Common Entrance and GCSE.
I have been the Head of History in a well-known prep school as well as Head of Year; Section and latterly Deputy Head Pastoral. I have also been the school future school adviser and prepared students for their senior school pre-tests.

Tutoring Approach

I am a passionate educator and aim to instil my love of my subjects on the students that I teach. I always ensure that I am well prepared and have an understanding of the students learning profile so that my lessons are both stimulating but also effective in achieving the best learning outcomes.
