I am currently a deputy head teacher and have had over 20 years of classroom experience. I teach in a local primary school where I am also leader of maths and science. I have a great deal of tutoring experience on a 1 to 1 and small group settings.
I am a quaified and experienced primary school teacher. I have been teaching in a local primary school for over 20 years. Prior to this I worked abroad teaching English as a foreign language to children and adults in Poland, Spain & Japan. Before completing my PGCE my BSc(Hons) in Psychology specialised in Educational Issues and Acquisition of Language.
My approach to tutoring is one that is fun, stimulating and enjoyable for the pupil and myself. I employ a variety of VAK (Visual, Auditory and Kinaesthetic) learning experiences. I am very calming, reasuring and above all I strive to make learning fun! My aim is that they become confident and are able achieve success in school as an independent learner.
