Hi! I am Cindy, a university student currently studying Biological Sciences at Imperial College London. Having achieved all A*s for my GCSE & A-Level subjects, and an A for Further Maths, I am familiar with an effective and efficient learning method, which will bound to improve my students' understandings of the subject.
Outside of my studies, I love to play tennis and paint!

Tutoring Experience

I have been tutoring privately for my family members since the beginning of my A-Level studies, and they have expressed an increase in confidence and understanding of the subjects they required help with.
Currently, I am volunteering with an organization to tutor sciences for students in underprivileged areas of London.

Tutoring Approach

I feel it is essential that students truly grasp the basic principles of the subject before moving on to practicing exam-style questions. After communicating with the student, I will understand which topics of the subject they require help with and specifically target those areas to help elevate their understanding and raise their grades.
It is also important to explore further interests in scientific areas that my students are interested in! If they wish, I would be more than happy to introduce them to more intricate levels of academia as a gateway to higher education.
