I am a kind, passionate, hard-working individual who wants to help others to succeed. I believe that anyone can excel in their studies through teaching approaches best catered to them. Reflecting on my own experiences, I was predicted mostly Cs and Ds in GCSE, but achieved A*s and As in all subjects, surpassing all expectations. My perseverance and resilience helped me to progress through college and university, where I have now achieved a degree in Medicine.
I offer tutoring up to and including GCSE Mathematics. Additionally, I do lessons for aspiring medicine applicants, by helping them in the application process, giving my first-hand experience into this, as well as help in interview preparation, personal statement writing and on entrance exam preparation.
I previously tutored Maths and English, and was previously a peer mentor.
I assess and evaluate the current knowledge students have, and work on improving their approach to learning, by firstly focusing on topics they struggle on the most. I have a gentle approach, and will work at a pace most comfortable for the student. I am able to deduce, and adapt to the different learning styles of students.
