I am an experienced tutor and have helped many students to success in their GCSEs, A-levels and degrees. I have strong interpersonal skills and am good at getting more complex ideas across to students who might be struggling with the subject material of their syllabi. I hold a BA in Creative Writing, an MA in Humanities and a PhD in Communication, Cultural and Media Studies.

Tutoring Experience

I have been tutoring since 2012, working at the local university and as a personal tutor. Over the years I have been successful in helping students pass their exams and have given a supporting hand with their coursework. Many of my students have been surprised by their success when they have usurped the expectations of their examiners and teachers through my guidance.

Tutoring Approach

I like to establish a good working relationship with my students and tailor my tutoring to the needs of the student. Whatever the level the student is at, or even if they are interested in learning from a non-academic viewpoint, I take the time to listen before overwhelming them with information. In this way the learning process is enjoyable and students can feel confident that they are receiving the best tutoring experience possible.
