I am a maths teacher at an independent school in Taunton, currently teaching IGCSE and A Level mathematics as well as further mathematics.

Beyond teaching, I have a love of the outdoors and all things kayaking and hiking.

Tutoring Experience

I qualified as a teacher in 2023, completing a PGCE in secondary mathematics. During my training, I was on placement in a range of local secondary school teaching GCSE and A level classes. Since September 2023, I have been working at an independent school in Taunton following IGCSE (Edexcel) and A-level (Edexcel) specifications.

I also have experience with Oxbridge applications and have supported a number of students in preparing for this process throughout this year.

Tutoring Approach

Having trained recently, my lessons feature research supported ideas and modern pedagogy. I focus on developing strong fundamental understanding in students and then translating this into exam performance through practice of examination questions. I am approachable and supportive while encouraging students to gain independence.
