Chris's Feedback

Chris is an incredibly warm and engaging teacher who instantly built up a rapport with my son. He clearly has an excellent knowledge of his subject, which he is able to share in a clear and engaging way. My son is loving his lessons so much we have just increased the length!

Chris tutored me a couple of years ago and I wouldn't have got the grade I did without him!

Chris stood in at very short notice to help tutor in maths for GCSE. He was very helpful and flexible and we can only thank him for his great support.

Chris has been superb in helping Victoria with her GCSE maths. She's only had two lessons so far but is relieved to be able to talk comfortably about her issues with certain maths topics and have the individual attention. Chris explains the subject in a way Victoria understands and she is so delighted that we are now asking for help with her English exams!

Extremely helpful, reliable, and has a great understanding of what's required for exams. My son is very much enjoying his time with Chris and is learning a lot!

Chris was very patient and positive/supportive with a somewhat reluctant 16 year old boy, and really helped him progress and also gain confidence with his maths and English. Chris has a very good understanding of the exam and education system and was keen to know exactly what my son was working on and what help he could provide, tailored to the exam texts etc. He was calm and patient and my son responded well to this, and even when tired after a day at school would try hard at the tutoring session. a very supportive positive approach. Highly recommended.

Chris has taken teaching as it gives him joy to see the young generation perform and improve. To him, it is like a hobby that he loves and not just a profession. I thought it was a bit difficult to change my son's attitude towards learning. Now when Chris is not there, my son really feels there is something missing. My son is now enjoying learning his most difficult subject. We can not really thank Chris enough. Though we feel that we made the right choice to have Chris as a teacher and that we are lucky that he accepted to help, we would also like to thank First Tutors for presenting teachers of Chris's standard.

Very approachable and flexible on times. Professional approach and followed up each visit with an email on work covered/areas to study. Although this was only a temporary arrangement to help with one exam, will definitely use again.

Chris is brilliant. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for extra tuition.
