I am a teacher at a local high school having previously taught in London as a Head of Sociology. I currently teach health and social care and sociology.

Tutoring Experience

I have taught since 2017 in the following subjects; sociology (GCSE and A Level,) psychology (GCSE and A Level,) Criminology (A Level) and Health and Social Care (GCSE and A Level.) I have tutored a range of students on different subjects since I have started teaching and I have marking experience.

Tutoring Approach

I speak to the student about how they feel they best access learning and use this information to help adapt my teaching. I use real life examples to helps students to understand concepts and help tackle misconceptions. I model answers to help practice exam technique and work through mark schemes to explain what examiners are looking for in exams and coursework. I am friendly and approachable and willing to adapt to help support all learning styles.
