Chloe

My name is Chloe, I live in Surrey and am a passionate language teacher and learner. Having started my langauge learning journey aged nine I can fully identify with my students and love to bring my own experience to my teaching.
I have travelled extensively in countries where my target languages are spoken and am often taken for a native! Besides teaching I am a freelance artist and lover of outdoor adventure.

Tutoring Experience

I have seventeen years of teaching experience and a history of achieving outstanding results. My experience covers one to one tuition to both children and adults as well as class and small group teaching. I am familiar with all the main exam boards and like to centre my lessons on aiming for top exam results whilst not losing the love of learning the subject for its own sake.

Tutoring Approach

My aim is to always tailor my lessons to suit the needs and individual learning style of the student. I make sure to listen for at least 70% of the lesson time, allowing the student to get as much speaking practice as possible and guiding and giving prompts where necessary. I plan in my lessons in detail but am always ready to stray from the structure in order to practise a weak area as and when it is appropriate.
