I am based in Central London, and am a final-year Economics undergraduate at the London School of Economics and Political Science (7.3% acceptance rate). I attended King Edward VI Camp Hill School for Boys from 2014-2021, achieving a 9 (high A) at GCSE and A* at A-Level in Mathematics. I have demonstrated academic excellence throughout my studies and am tutoring Mathematics to share my passion for the field.
I tutored Mathematics in-person to KS1-4 students (Years 1-11) from underrepresented backgrounds from January to March 2023. Here, I communicated intricate concepts to them with impact and clarity. I also worked through difficult language and educational barriers to tailor individual teaching.
My goal is to get you exam-ready. Baseline tests and in-session progress will help me target your weaker syllabus knowledge areas. To address these, I will methodologically walk you through solving problems, providing reasoning and rationale behind each step. With the help of graphs and diagrams, I will illustratively explain complex and abstract ideas. The focus will be on practice questions, wherein I will record your progress, provide you with all past papers from your curriculum, highlight your weaknesses and focus teaching on such areas.
Overall, through practice, uplifting support, targeted revision and breaking down complex ideas, you will be able to tackle your Mathematics exam with confidence and rigour.
