I can highly recommend Charlotte. She worked with our daughter in year 5 to prepare for the Kent Test but the excellent grounding she offers has benefitted our daughter far beyond the one exam. The best feedback is that our girl wants to continue going to Charlotte, and should we ever need any extra support we would not hesitate in returning.

Charlotte tutored my son for two years for year 4 & 5. She engaged him well and consequently he was always keen to go to tutoring and to do the work in between. Charlotte has a gentle and calm demeanour which makes her very approachable and a excellent tutor. She is extremely organised and laid out the topics each week as well as providing good feedback to parents. My son has now completed and passed his 11+ but much more than that, through the process of tutoring has refined his thinking skills, learnt essential exam techniques and retained his love of learning. Charlotte tutored my daughter for the Kent Test throughout her Yr5 and the experience was wholly positive. We saw the benefits way beyond the preparation for the 11+ - her maths and English greatly improved, her confidence improved, and ultimately she passed the 11+. Charlotte is organised, approachable, extremely knowledgable and has a friendly and relaxed approach to the work sessions. I was determined not to allow the experience to become pressurised and Charlotte fully supported that - always calm and gentle whilst applying a rigorous approach to the work required. Charlotte is an excellent teacher. My daughter absolutely loves her lessons. Charlotte is very patient and understanding. My little girl's maths improved so much in such short period of time. She is much more confident in school as well. We will not hesitate recommending her to anyone seeking extra help for their children.

Charlotte is a great tutor, she has been so helpful for my daughter, my daughter love and enjoying her way of teaching. She gives feedback verbally and in writing. She sets homework and always mark and give feedback unlike our previous tutor. So far, I’m impressed with her tutoring and the method she’s using to prepare my daughter for 11+. Charlotte is excellent. My son (9 years old) is really enjoying his weekly sessions and I find the prompt feedback that she emails to me after each session really useful to track his progress. She also sends out a plan for the following week in advance of the session. I would highly recommend Charlotte.

Charlotte has taught our son for a few weeks and my wife and I have nothing but praise for the work she is doing.
She is working with him on study skills and we have a graph of achievement that I trust will go up and up and up until our son goes to boarding school and university.
The best thing is that the methods she is teaching him will soon become good habits. When that happens he is sorted for life!

Charlotte is extremely patient and responsive. She has been very encouraging and positive in her tutoring sessions together with being highly organised.
