Hi, I'm Charlotte, an experienced and passionate primary school teacher with a specialism in Key Stage 2. After years in the classroom, I founded 'The Little Study Spot' to provide personalised and engaging learning experiences that build confidence, close learning gaps, and help children succeed in a way that feels fun and meaningful. My goal is to make learning an adventure rather than a task, creating an environment where every child can thrive.
I have extensive experience teaching Year 3, 4, 5 and 6, supporting children with a range of abilities, including those working below age-related expectations. My background includes planning and delivering high-quality lessons tailored to individual learning styles, making complex topics accessible through practical, hands on activities. Alongside my classroom experience, I offer small group and 1:1 tutoring sessions, helping children develop their confidence in maths, reading and writing.
I believe that every child learns differently, and my sessions are designed to meet their unique needs. Whether through interactive games, creative problem-solving, or real-life applications, I ensure that learning is engaging, purposeful and enjoyable. I tailor each lesson to a child's interests and strengths, helping them build confidence and develop strategies they can apply in school. My sessions are supportive and encouraging, creating a safe space for children to take risks, ask questions, and truly understand the concepts they're learning.
