Hello, thanks for taking a look at my profile.
I am a qualified teacher, currently undertaking my PhD at the University of Sussex. I am a diverse tutor and specialise in teaching geography, english as a foreign language, and students with learning difficulties.
I have worked both in the UK and internationally, including in Egypt and within the Amazon Rainforest.
My strength as a tutor lies in my ability to think outside of the box and evoke fascination in learning. I believe that everyone can excel with the right guidance and encouragement. My goal is not just to help students improve their grades but to help build those deeper understandings so students can build upon knowledge and progress.
Neurodiversity Tutoring
Being dyslexic myself, I have developed a flair for working with neurodiverse students. I was awarded the Cadogan for Resilience from the British Dyslexia Association (2022) and named as one of the Top 50 Most Influential Neurodiverse Women by Women Beyond the Box (2022). This year (2025) I have also been nominated as a Community Shining Star in the Dyslexia Awards.
I have experience working with students with other learning differences too, including Autism and ADHD and am able to adapt tutoring to suit these needs as well.
