I am a qualified and experienced teacher and tutor. I love supporting children and young people to fulfil their educational aims and ambitions and to enable them to become confident learners.

Tutoring Experience

I have taught in mainstream secondary schools for 27 years, mainstream primary school for 5 years and providing tutoring in English, maths and French for the last 9 years.

Tutoring Approach

I have an individualised approach that uses an assessment process to identify their current working levels and the gaps in their knowledge. This means the learning is individually tailoured to their needs. This ensure that any gaps in learning are dealt with, thus providing them with strong foundations on which to build the rest of their learning. Continuous assessment ensures that every lesson enables them to make progress towards the agreed learning goals.
