My son in year 7 has been tutored by Carolyn for several months now. Carolyn is open to working with you and your child towards specific goals. She gauges where your child needs more help but also makes the session very interactive. My son enjoys the sessions and builds on his learning at school. I would recommend Caroyln.

Carolyn is a very good tutor. She is always very clear and has helped my son understand issues that he was finding confusing in A Level Physics. She sends through practice exam questions for him to complete then goes through them in the lesson. This has really helped with his learning. She is always happy to answer questions.

Carolyn is very patient when explaining problems and asks lots of questions to make sure your child fully understands the method and answer. She gives praise when getting things right which boosts self confidence and overall engagement in Maths. My twins are due to start year 8 in September.

My daughter feels VERY comfortable with Carolyn. My daughter has gone up from level 4 to a level 7 with Carolyn’s tutoring!!!! Fantastic!

Although my daughter found Carolyn to be very kind and friendly, her teaching style didn't fit my daughter's learning style. I wouldn't say this will necessarily be the case for everyone though.

Carolyn is a lovely kind lady and extremely punctual and reliable. I engaged her to help my daughter with her GCSE maths during the build up to the mocks. She focused on boosting my daughter's confidence in a subject that she was finding difficult and this has led to a much better understanding of the subject.

Carloline has helped my son immensely in physics by explaining physics in a way that's understandable. Time is efficiently used and she helps with challenging exam questions. Highly recommended tutor.

Carolyn is always prompt and easy to be around. She is covering maths and the sciences at GCSE with my daughter using a mixture of notes, text book and past papers. My daughter seems much more confident and at ease with all these subjects now.

Carolyn is always punctual and generous with her time. She has helped my son with physics tuition and both responded to his identified areas he struggles with and offered suggestions to support him more generally in the subject. He now feels he has a better grasp of the subject and is more confident about his exams.

Carolyn is a fabulous tutor for helping build confidence in maths (ks3). Takes time to fully explain processes & ensures student comfortable to each specific subject. Highly recommend Carolyn

Carolyn is an excellent tutor and very flexible on when she comes round which helps a lot.
My son found Carolyn’s teaching style very easy to understand and she has a lot of patience. This has given my son more confidence in being able to deal with both Maths and Physics AS papers.
