I am a dedicated and enthusiastic KS2 teacher with a passion for helping children unlock their full potential. With experience teaching a range of abilities, I create a supportive and encouraging learning environment where pupils feel confident to ask questions and explore new ideas. My aim is to inspire curiosity, resilience, and a love of learning in every student I work with.
I currently teach middle-tier KS2 pupils at a private boarding school in Edinburgh. I am Primary trained but with a background in History. My responsibilities ranged from classroom teacher to assisstant houseparent. This has given me valuable experience in both academic and pastoral support. I have worked with pupils in small class settings and provided individual guidance to help them achieve measurable progress. My background includes curriculum planning, differentiated instruction, and supporting children with diverse learning needs.
My tutoring sessions will personalised for the children I work with. I use interactive and engaging activities to make learning enjoyable, while reinforcing key skills in literacy, numeracy, and beyond. I believe in building confidence as much as competence. It is about equipping the pupils with the necessary tools to flourish.
