I have over a decade of experience teaching Business, Economics and Accountancy in state, private boarding and international schools. Having worked internationally for 5 years, I have developed approaches to develop the answering technique of EAL (English as an additional language) students. Improving grade outcomes whilst making learning enjoyable is my primary focus - three of my previous tutees have received certificates from respective exam boards for achieving the top mark in Europe for their qualification.
I have been teaching GCSE and A Level Business and Economics for 11 years. Having worked at schools in the state, private boarding and international sector, I have experience of multiple exam boards and syllabi. With experience as an exams officer and deputy headteacher, I also have experience of academic interventions and exam access arrangements.
Learning can and should be enjoyable. I believe the key is getting a handle on things and feeling in control. In order to build a sense of control, I work with my students on structuring the course content (with digital flash cards and notes) as well as perfecting their exam technique.
