I am a highly experienced primary school teacher and school leader. I have worked in a variety of schools with children of different ages, needs and abilities.

Tutoring Experience

I have worked in schools as a teacher for 10 years and been part of school leadership for the past 5.
I have tutored children for 6 years, including Key Stage 1, Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3. My pupils have achieved great success in SATs tests and 11+ selective school tests.

Tutoring Approach

To me, successful learning is about being taught the right thing at the right time. Every session is tailored to the needs of each pupil. I do not simply follow a scheme or text book. I work out what the gaps in learning are, what the next steps are, and build upon that. The personalised approach is the best way to achieve success.
