Tutoring Experience

I successfully tutored two students in GCSE Maths for one hour each week over the course of three months. During this time, I tailored my approach to meet their individual needs, helping them build a strong foundation in key concepts and develop effective exam strategies. Through a combination of targeted practice, engaging resources, and continuous feedback, both students showed significant improvement in their understanding and confidence in the subject.

Tutoring Approach

To tutor GCSE Maths effectively, I will start by assessing what my student knows with a quick quiz to identify areas for improvement which we can then work on.
Ensure they have a strong grasp of the basic concepts before moving on to more complex topics. Use a variety of materials, including textbooks, online resources, and past exam papers, to keep lessons engaging. Provide plenty of practice questions, especially from past exams, and regularly check their progress to adjust my approach as needed.
