I'm a psychology research fellow at the University of Cambridge, with 7 years tutoring experience.
I currently specialise in providing statistics help & tutoring for research students (e.g. undergrad projects, masters and PhD students), and statistics consulting for research projects.
I'm experienced in: R (and RStudio), psychometrics (factor analysis, etc.), structural equation modelling, regression, generalised linear modelling, canonical correlation analysis, and more.
I have first class BA (Cambridge University) and MRes (Newcastle University) degrees in psychology, and a graduate-level qualification in statistics (probability module) from the Royal Statistical Society, and Mathematical Statistics (M347) at the Open University. I submitted my PhD in September 2021.
What do I tutor?
1) Research Methods and Statistics
2) R (RStudio), SPSS and Excel tuition.
I have 5 years of university teaching experience and 8 years of private tutoring experience, including online teaching. Recently, I’ve helped many students with dissertations and research projects.
Please note I don't write dissertations/essays for examined pieces of work, so please don't request this.
I can tutor in person or via skype/zoom.
For statistics lessons I can gently walk you through how to analyse your own data in SPSS/R/Excel and how to interpret, report and visualise the results. I can also review and give detailed feedback on written work.
