I am a qualified teacher, and second in department for social science at one of the best state-boarding schools in the country. Focusing on the Psychology and Sociology AQA specification. I have been within an education capacity for the last six years and have worked as a teacher and a 1-1 learning support role.

Tutoring Experience

I have a degree in Applied Psychology and Criminology. I have qualified teacher status and a PGCE. I am currently teaching the AQA specification of Psychology and Sociology. Due to having previously worked as a learning support assistant I have great experience working in a 1-1 capacity and structuring work to fit the pupils needs. I have also acquired my level 4 qualifications in child play therapy. Which I believe helps to give me a caring approach in my teaching. This will be my third year of tutoring with 100% pass rate on previous pupils.

Tutoring Approach

I enjoy teaching immensely and am considered to have a caring approach, I try to make sure that lessons and learning takes place within a relaxed but studious educational setting. I specialise in providing support for exam practice and essay technique.
