Hi there, I'm Ben!
I am a qualified primary school teacher. I'm married and a dad to a son who is in year six. I enjoy travel, keeping fit, reading and watching sports.
I am currently teaching year 3 in a Gloucester primary school.
I have been a primary school class teacher for over 10 years and throughout that time I have taught the whole spectrum from age 4 to 11, though most of my experience has been with years 4, 5 and 6.
I am passionate about working with children and as well as teaching whole-class, I've tutored small groups and 1:1 extra-curricular maths sessions to prepare for SATs, and coached numerous sports teams.
I have extensive experience in tutoring for KS2 SATs, in both Maths and English, and providing tutoring for 11+ examinations.
I use a calm, relaxed approach in both my whole-class and 1:1 teaching to encourage students to feel as comfortable as possible, in order to build their confidence and best facilitate their progress through engaging, up to date activities and personslised provision.
