Ben

My name is Ben, and I study Maths and Economics at the University of Edinburgh. I have always had a passion for teaching, helping my friends throughout my school years and moving on to more formal tutoring as I moved on to university. I am very passionate about learning - maths specifically - and love seeing my pupils thrive.

Tutoring Experience

I have previously tutored at National 5 level with great success, and am very capable of teaching at Higher level also.

Tutoring Approach

I have a very question focused tutoring style, prioritising the use of past paper questions and the course specification to give a condensed overview of the whole course. I find the repeated use of question based learning to be most effective when it comes to facing the actual exam, as students are well prepared for what they will be faced with when they sit the paper.
