Hi, I'm Ben! I’m passionate about teaching and helping students unlock their full potential. When I’m not teaching, you can usually find me running, reading, hitting the gym, or exploring new places through travel. I believe that learning should be an enjoyable experience, and I work hard to tailor my approach to meet each student's unique needs. My goal is to create a positive and engaging environment where students feel confident and motivated to reach their academic goals. I’m excited to share my passion for learning and help guide students toward success!
I am currently in my third year of primary teaching at an outstanding school, where I have had the opportunity to work through an Ofsted inspection, further honing my skills in delivering high-quality education. Prior to this, I worked in a specialist school for children with autism, which has given me a deep understanding of diverse learning needs and the importance of tailored support. I also hold a degree in Psychology, which has provided me with a strong foundation in understanding child development and learning processes. In addition, I have experience as an activity leader at an international summer school, where I worked with children from various backgrounds, helping them develop both academically and socially in a dynamic environment. These experiences have equipped me with a broad skill set, enabling me to adapt my teaching style to suit each individual’s needs.
My teaching style centres on creating a supportive and flexible learning environment where a child can progress at their own pace. I believe in building a strong foundation of understanding, ensuring that they fully grasp each concept before moving on. However, I also strive to gently challenge them, encouraging critical thinking and pushing their boundaries just enough to spark growth and boost confidence. By fostering a balance between comfort and challenge, I aim to help students develop both their skills and a love for learning, while also ensuring they feel empowered in their academic journey.
