I have always been excited about teaching and supporting others to enjoy the learning process and the joy it brings when unexpected windows on the world open up to them. I enjoy a challenge and am motivated by the thought that I can really help others to be the very best that they can be academically, mentally, and emotionally.
I have been a qualified teacher for 20 years and have been considered during that time as someone who is invariably good, and usually, outstanding. I have not yet met a student that does not at the core enjoy learning new things or one that I cannot teach. I have taught at the primary and secondary levels. I am well versed in meeting the needs of those with EAL or SEND needs.
I am creative, flexible, and have the ability to think on my feet. I like to use a range of approaches that reaches out and speaks to the style of learning that best suits the student. I make a point of knowing the curriculum well so that I can modify and bespoke it to suit the strengths and areas for support of those I work with.
