I am an enthusiastic, patient and most importantly, an experienced Secondary school Science teacher with an excellent Biomedical science degree. I have over 15 years teaching experience in teaching pupils at KS3 and KS4 science; Biology, Chemistry and Physics at GCSE. In addition I also teach ISEB (Independent Schools Examinations Board) Common Entrance Examinations at 11+ and 13+.
I have a vast amount of experience in helping pupils with their exam techniques and linear exams (grades 9-1). I have an excellent exam success rate helping pupils move minimum of 2 grades. I am able to build a great rapport with my students which help them work to their maximum potential in our lessons. I have the wanted and required skills and experience in practicals and have marked over 2500 papers in physics/ chemistry/ biology to help pupils refine their exam techniques. As an examiner I know what is needed from pupils to achieve those grade defining marks and answer those long mark questions, especially the 6 markers. In addition as a qualified teacher I know all the required practicals for each of the exam board’s and will practice what’s needed to tackle what makes up 25% of most papers.
I teach AQA, IGCSE, Edexcel, OCR, and have excellent experience, understanding and the
skills needed for pupils to succeed in science. I have got knowledge and experience in the the exam content and practical skills needed to target those GCSE questions including required practicals and I am well experienced as a teacher to deliver a tailored education to your child. I have worked with a variety of pupils at different ages and abilities in inner London schools. I teach all KS2, KS3 and KS4 science subject; Biology, Chemistry, Physics. I am an expert in helping pupils boost their grade and confidence in answering exam questions. I have good access to past exam papers and have very good set of skills to prepare pupils in a confident manner for their year 11+, 13+ and year 11 GCSE exams. My lessons are filled with lots of exam style questions, covering science content and relating back to the exam specification to ensure all is covered.
