I am a Malaysian Chinese who is currently studying medicine in London. I did IGCSE back then and A levels in a college in Oxford.
As the eldest brother from a big family, I have always been the go-to person for homework guidance. I have tutored GCSE level students to help them prepare for IGCSE exams a few years ago too.
Also, being a competitive swimmer back home for 11 years, I have been teaching young kids how to swim; hence I have plenty of practical experience in teaching and tutoring.
As a medical student, I find remembering and applying knowledge easier if we understand the core concepts and reasonings behind them. Hence, I would focus my teaching my students to understand the concepts rather than memorising facts, which gives them the advantage of working out things even when they cannot recall the facts.
